2. Related introduction

It is expected that graphite powder production capacity will continue to grow over the next decade, provided the overall market is supportive and mining and expansion is successful. The additional graphite capacity will make up for the current 100,000 tons of scaled graphite capacity lost due to engineering errors resulting at the end of mining. According to industry analysis, global graphite product development will be carried out in ten major areas. Meanwhile, as the world's largest graphite producer, China accounts for 40% to 50% of the world's total production, as set by the former National Building Materials Bureau. India, the world's second producer, has accounted for about 15% of graphite production in the past decade or so. Other producing countries are Brazil (7%), Mexico (6%), and North Korea (accounting for 6%). The combined graphite production of these five countries accounts for more than 75% of the world's total production.

If the world graphite market environment continues to move in a favorable direction in the future, graphite production will increase, especially in Brazil, Canada, China, India and Mexico. The total volume is expected to increase by 120,000 tons. Under the guidance of the direction of graphite deep processing proposed in the "Tenth Five-Year Plan", the key graphite deep processing products to be developed in China in the next five years are shaped carbon, fluoride graphite, silicon graphite, graphite milk for video tubes, lithium-ion batteries, carbon materials, carbon materials for fuel cells, etc.

In addition, there are still large gaps in the production of deep-processed graphite products in China, and there is a lot of development work to be done.
