Silicon calcium particles can also be used as a warming agent and cast iron inoculant used in converter steelmaking workshops. Because silicon and calcium have a strong affinity with oxygen, silicon calcium alloy powder can replace some of the metal aluminum and silicon calcium in iron and steel smelting. The line completes the final deoxidation of molten steel.
