2. Related introduction

Low silicon iron use:

A. Low silicon iron can replace some ferrosilicon alloys to deoxidize and increase silicon, increase iron, effectively control the temperature of molten steel, and do not affect the absorption rate of other alloys during use;

B. Low-silicon molten iron can reduce the amount of ore and scrap steel, and ensure the normal healing rate of the molten pool metal. In this way, it can realize steelmaking with less slag, reduce lime consumption and increase metal recovery;

3. Product usage

Since silicon and oxygen are easily synthesized into silicon dioxide, ferrosilicon is often used as a deoxidizer during steelmaking. At the same time, since SiO2 emits a large amount of heat when it is generated, it is also beneficial to increase the temperature of molten steel while deoxidizing. Iron doping is used as an alloying element additive and is widely mixed into low-alloy structural steel, spring steel, bearing steel, heat-resistant steel and electrical silicon steel. Ferrosilicon is often used as a reducing agent in the production of ferroalloys and the chemical industry.
