When smelting silicon-manganese alloy furnace conditions should pay extra attention to the abnormal situation to deal with in a timely manner, so as to avoid unnecessary losses, the following we introduce in detail this situation when the abnormal situation should be dealt with.
(1) the characteristics of excess reducing agent and processing. When there is an excess reducing agent, the current rises, the electrode is difficult to insert, the stinging fire, collapsing material increases, the temperature of the material surface in the furnace is high; the electrode consumption is slow, the number of devolution decreases; the silicon content in the alloy rises, the carbon content is low, and the slag content decreases. When there is excess reductant, the amount of coke in the material batch should be reduced in time.
(2) signs of insufficient reducing agent and treatment. When the amount of reducing agent is insufficient, the current fluctuates, and is not easy to send up the load. Electrode inserted into the furnace is too deep, the furnace turned more slag; electrode under the release of increased electrode consumption; low furnace temperature, slag volume is too large, slag iron separation is not good, high content in the slag, slag alkalinity reduced; when there is insufficient reducing agent dosage, the amount of coke in the batch should be increased in time.
(3) slagging difficulties and processing. The main reason for the occurrence of slagging difficulties foot slag alkalinity is low, hindering the slag. The occurrence of slagging with difficulty should promptly adjust the material ratio so that the slag composition control in the required range. If it is due to the electrode fracture blockage, the electrode block in the furnace eye should be smashed and try to discharge it.
If there is slag in the furnace, the reason is that the slag is badly discharged, so the measures used is to force manual slag pulling; if the slag is caused by inaccurate material, the material ratio should be adjusted.
